• "Keeping it Together" Episode Followup

Well, day 3 of Steven Bomb shows consistent signs of #nopis. But a Raven M. Molisee episode? Oh this IS going to be good!

The amount of shirts Steven owns just keeps increasing!

    Buy Engine Oil

Pearl’s pile is the neatest. She folds shirts like she works at friggin' JCPenny! Is Amethyst even trying? It looks like she just made another pile of shirts!

    Not sure if sanitary.

I think that we need to be made aware of the fact that there’s a sound effect for Steven’s sandals flip-flopping.

We’re going to have talk about all the Peridot faces in this episode.

When you’ve just peed your pants and are wondering if your friend noticed and they totally have but they don’t know what to say.

The face just says, “I’m really sorry, but I can’t lie to you.”

I think the Crewniverse had to have fun with the faces in the beginning of this episode, to make up for the horror they had to animate later.

Another Peri face for your viewing pleasure.

    My fingers are Lima beans!

Like, I'm not sure if the animation was kind of sloppy in this episode on purpose or not.

Either way, have another Peridot face!

Like how many reaction faces can she have?!

Steven you're going to bite your tongue off if you run like that.

    Do-do-do-do-do Inspector Peri-

I'm totally going to hit her you guys!

I'm running up walls! Haters gonna hate!

I'm not the only one that feels it looks like Peridot has a beard, right?

I think the animators snuck in this face. It only shows up for a few frames, so you really have to be paying attention to catch it.

Peridot must be cursed with eternal resting derp face.

    The face of pure evil.

I must go, my planet needs me!

I MEAN JUST LOOK AT THIS FACE!

     LOOK!
    CLOSELY!

“Aw please, I wanna know!” - Steven Universe echoing the entire fandom.

Alright, so we’re half way through the episode. Things are going smoothly. We got to see Peridot again, find out more about her powers. Pretty cool episode so far, right?

Oh look, it's some of those hand things like in Secret Team, right? No big deal, right?

A beautiful illustration of the face of fear.

YOU KNOW, A SHOW FOR KIDS.

“The whole point in coming here was to check on the cluster!” - Peridot, episode 49, Jail Break

What you may not realize right now is that these were friends that Garnet knew from the war. She specifically called them Crystal Gems. That means they were part of the rebellion, and they fought for Rose Quartz.

“This is why we never found them!” Even if gems are cracked, there should still be remnants, right? So, apparently, after the war, when Rose’s remaining followers were tallying up the ‘bodies’, there were still some gems who were missing in action. It’s been a 5000 year mystery that even Rose Quartz couldn’t solve. Another thing to further tug on your heart strings is the fact that Ruby is the one crying.

Glad Garnet explained how the washer and dryer work.

Steven, those socks as mismatched! That is not how you make a pair! Wait, who’s socks are those? Steven always wears sandals!

YEAH SO IN CONCLUSION HAVE A GOOD SLEEP TONIGHT AFTER WATCHING A KIDS SHOW.
