Nostalgia Critic put out a video talking about kids shows! It's pretty informative, and Steven Universe pops up a few times. The video seems to focus on the last 20-30 years of children's television especially. Even though us 90's kids loved the cartoons we grew up with, we do have to admit that shows like Steven Universe, Adventure Time, and Avatar (to name a few) are of higher quality and cause us to think more than Talespin or Doug.
