Gems have been revealed to be aliens. They didn't always exist on Earth, and it's not the planet of their origin. Sure, some gems were born on Earth, but as a society overall, Earth was not the planet that the race original came from. Gems are essentially aliens, and they literally came to Earth with plans to conquer it - likely something they had done all over the universe with other planets. Rose Quartz intervened, and the Earth was saved. But with gems having been around for so long, did they have any influence in human history and culture?
