In a botched attempt to destroy Buddy's Book and stop Steven from asking so many inconvenient questions, the Crystal Gems accidentally burn down the Buddwick Public Library. With Beach City's literacy rate dropping, it's up to Steven, with his ability to borrow his dad's checkbook, and Connie, with her ability to forge signatures, to save the day! Of course, it would seem suspicious if a couple of children were buying up property, meeting with the zoning board, getting bids from construction crews, and consulting with architecture firms, but that's where Stevonnie comes in! For some reason, Steven and Connie don't think of that and instead do all that stuff under the guise of Tiger Millionaire and his new business partner, Ocelot Accountant! Will their unwitting financier notice his bank account draining and stop them before they can complete their order of marble from Italy? In the immortal words of Greg Universe, "Looks like I bought a library!"
