Babies! There's a new episode coming up this week. I don't know what it's about, but it's called Three Gems and a Baby, so there's probably a baby in it! Babies tend to have a weird effect on people, at least in my experience. A person can be completely disinterested in babies, but then there's a baby in the room and they brighten up and want to hold the kid and stuff... or they want to leave the room 'cause they really don't like babies. How about you? Anyone out there have a baby in their life?

So what is Lion? We've never seen another gem creature like him, unless you count corrupted gems. But that would mean Lion has a gem somewhere. Not outside the realm of possibility, but perhaps the reason we've never seen it is because Lion only has a small shard of a gem. Secondly, if Pink Diamond IS dead, for reals, where did her remains go? Are they bubbled in the temple? Does Homeworld still possess them? A shattered gem still has pieces... so where did she go?

What do you know, a half hour special that didn't rip our hearts out and leave us with more questions! Well, maybe a few questions, but no intensive gem history mysteries! It's nice to get back to slice of life and remember that Steven is still part human - and Rose wouldn't want him to forget that.

And also they got to meet the cluster (well, Steven did, anyway). Really interesting to see it really was a giant gem monster, although it did leave fans skeptical if it was really large enough to destroy the entire Earth.
