Does Steven Universe Have FILLER!?

Does Steven Universe waste time with pointless episodes? Are there any episodes that did not give character development or drive the story? Are there any episodes that could be skipped upon rewatching the show (Uncle Grandpa excluded, of course, as it is non-canon)? Or are they all significant in some way, even if we don't realize it until later?

Fan Theory: Is Steven Going To Die?

Wouldn't that be an epic way to end the series? Or to end a season? Since gems can just regenerate, we've yet to see anyone actually die. So, could the title character be the first to go?

Steven vs. Amethyst [Steven Universe Review]

Definitely interesting to see two good guys fight. And we actually got the question answered about who was stronger, Amethyst or Steven. Although Pearl did say Amethyst couldn't beat her, so I suppose she wouldn't be much match for another quartz, unfortunately. Even if that quartz is only a half gem.
