Steven has a lot of friends in different places. There are the citizens of Beach City, who would surely come to his aid if asked. There are the corrupted gems, residing in bubbles in the temple, one of which Steven was able to tame. And there are the Watermelon Steven's, semi-sentient beings that live to serve the holder of the Rose Quartz gem. If Homeworld tries to invade Earth again, the Crystal Gems would be no match. But perhaps, Steven and his new friends could be enough to stand up to Homeworld's forces.

Sometimes, SU fans get theories spot on! So, was there anything you thought would come true that ended up being canon? Anything not included that fans got right?

An SU fan over on reddit came up with some fun plot lines for upcoming episodes! Remember way back when everyone thought "Hit the Diamond" would be the huge episode where Yellow Diamond finally appeared (before Message Received came), but some joked about "Hit the Diamond" being an episode about baseball? And then it actually DID turn out to be a baseball episode?? Time to imagine what would possibly go wrong with these next titles! Think any of these will be accurate?

Jenna over on fandomfollowing.com released a fantastic review about 'Same Old World' and 'Barn Mates'. Check out an excerpt, and then read the full article at the link! It's a good read, so don't miss it!It’s a tough competition, because basically all of Steven Universe is pure gold, but I think “Same Old World” miiiiight just be my favorite episode yet, and not even just because it has Lapis Lazuli in, though that certainly doesn’t hurt its case. Episodes 3 (“Same Old World”) and 4 (“Barn Mates”) of this season represent another of those tone shifts I seem to be so fond of talking about: that while the previous two were all about dealing with this arc they had built up, and showing Steven’s development as an empath, these next two are dealing with the very real fallout of what’s happened on Earth and to our characters. This first episode is a subtle ode to how beautiful the planet really is, what makes it worth protecting, but it’s also about change. Steven says it right when he says nothing is “still” on Earth — truly, nothing ever is.
