They aren't out fighting gem monster. Er, wait, Sadie actually did do that. But I mean, come on, when Peridot came down in the hand ship, the citizens didn't stand a chance. So were all the slice of life episodes with the people of Beach City just setting us up for more heartbreak?

Fan Theory: Will The New Crystal Gems Fail!?

So we're going to get some new Crystal Gems. It's probably gems we've already met before. But if they didn't go through the rebellion and the war, could they really stand up to the forces of Homeworld? Or even a small threat like a gem monster?

There's a big storm coming! Perhaps with the growth of Steven's powers, he may finally be able to unlock some of Rose's memories.
