At the beginning of this episode, we started to think that Peridot was coming around to the Crystal Gems. She was singing with Steven, she was helping all the gems with the drill - everything was great! And then right as we were lulled into a false sense of Peridemption, she showed that she was still totally on board with what Homeworld had original planned for Earth, as well as stealing the Diamond line.
