Blue Diamond reacted harshly when she called for Ruby to be shattered. And yet, she mourned the shattering of her fellow Diamond, Pink. So she's definitely shown empathy, and felt the need to continue to preserve a species that was much weaker than her own. So what gives? Has she had a change of heart in 5,000 years? Could she be the last hope against Homeworld for the Crystal Gems?
