There seems to be a lot of evidence suggesting that Ruby and Sapphire didn't fuse into Garnet until they came to Earth. A few times in the show, Garnet calls the Earth her planet, even though it's pretty clear that Ruby and Sapphire are from Homeworld. This theory is further fueled by the fact that the temple has separate rooms for Ruby and Sapphire. It's possible the two may have fought alongside each other during the war, but didn't fuse until after. So, what do you think? Is fusion so looked down upon on Homeworld that had Ruby and Sapphire stayed there, Garnet would never exist? Is Earth Garnet's home because it's where she was 'born'?
