Amethyst could totally pull off that late 80's/early 90's look! I bet she'd wear that alien shirt as a joke, since she knows gems are the only real aliens out there. I wonder how humans got it so wrong. Maybe early gem kind shapeshifted to look like the classic aliens we see in media? Or maybe cavemen were really bad painters and once modern humans discovered the ancient drawings of aliens they just stuck! Who knows? I wonder if there's an Area 51 in the SU canon?
