Both Peridot and Bismuth saw something special in Amethyst. The Crystal Gems have always believed in her, sure, but they are also aware that she's defective. But Peridot talked as if there wasn't really a whole lot wrong with her, and Bismuth gave her the name of "deep cut". So are all Amethyst's deep cut, or is that a special property that Bismuth noticed about her? Is Amethyst more powerful than she thinks?
