• Episode Followup: The Zoo

The previous episode ended on quite the cliffhanger.  Let's pick up where we left off, shall we?

The last thing we saw from Gem Heist were these two mysterious people primping Greg.  I didn't think Greg would be the kind of guy to want braided hair.

Seeing these two so happy and be back together is a much-needed break from all of the drama of the past few episodes.  They're still in the zoo, but we'll cross that bridge soon enough.

Oh my gosh, he's so sad!  Even though he cries all the time, it's still a very touching moment.

Just look at that face!  Don't you want to just hug him and make everything all better?

It looks like our two new friends are Wy - Six and Jay - Ten.  They seem like really nice people.

Even so, it doesn't look like Steven is too keen on them messing with his dad.

Oh look, more people.  This zoo has more people than I was expecting.

A little voice you hear in your head is your conscience.  A little voice you hear in your earring is...well...I'm not too sure on that one.

If you think about it, having someone guide you through the day is a good way to relieve stress.  It kills any creativity, though.  Not to mention you probably aren't going to want to do the same thing every day.

You've gotta admit, this place does have its perks.  Magical fruit that appears out of nowhere?  C'mon, that's pretty awesome.

Steven doesn't really seem to be enjoying the voice's version of fun.

Reaching for the stars.  That's...quite the fun activity, isn't it?

Aaaaand we're back to banging on doors.  It's the Earth way of doing things!

    "I know what hurt is!"

Oh Steven, of course you do.

We went from banging on doors to punching Greg.  This episode seems to be going well.

I can't believe Steven actually did that.  Not only did he hit someone, but he hit Greg.  I know if was for a good reason, but still.

"The Choosening" seems to be a very cult-like thing right now...I wonder what exactly will be choosened.

Oh, it's just a match-making ritual.  How personal of a way to meet someone.

I never expected getting rejected by Greg to have such an effect.  Sure, he used to be something, but now?

I love Steven's reaction to a riot.  Just pick up dad and run.

Though from this screenshot, it looks like Steven is about to throw him into the crowd.

Too bad he smacked Greg right into a branch.  Man, he just can't catch a break today, can he?

Oh boy, they've gone and done it now.  But hey, at least the door is finally open.

While they can be cold and insensitive...

they can also be sweet and caring.

Well, that didn't last long.  We're right back to the mean, ruthless soldier Amethysts now.

Now that I've got you all on yet another cliffhanger, I'll be signing off for now.

    Bye, guys!
