Cartoon Network Goes Big at San Diego Comic-Con

Steven Universe is also getting plenty of love at SDCC - fans will be able to step inside the world of the show at Cartoon Network's booth, where they'll be greeted by "large, iconic figures of the Crystal Gems above a crystal landscape. A screen embedded in the crystal will show what’s waiting inside – the chance to be in an epic parallax scene with their favorite characters."

Plus, on Thursday, July 19 from 4:30 to 5:30 in the Horton Grand Theatre, series creator Rebecca Sugar, star Estelle (who voices Garnet), and experts from the Dove Self-Esteem Project will host the "Superheroes of Body Positivity Panel" to discuss the importance of body positivity in both the real and animated world. Then, on Saturday, July 21, Sugar and the show's cast, Estelle, Michaela Dietz (Amethyst), Deedee Magno Hall (Pearl) and Zach Callison (Steven) will gather in the Indigo Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. for the official Steven Universe panel, promising some "epic announcements" and perhaps a ukulele performance or two.
