Imagine if they gems took on a different form and lived their lives that way? How differently would their technology have developed? Imagine if they were cats? Or foxes? Or birds? Or cows? Why choose the form of a human? I mean, gems can float and jump really far (or fly?), and some possess extreme strength compared to humans. Not to mention all the extra strength that comes with being a fusion. Can you cats doing the fusion dance and becoming a giant cat? And imagine that gems have existed on Earth almost as long as humans, so humans just think this is normal? They don't question when they see a giant cat walking down the street. Or a giant bird. Anyway, enough theorizing about alternate universes in which gems don't take on human-esque forms. Discussion time!
