We all thought it was pretty weird that Dr. Maheswaran considered the cluster monsters human - including blaming the lack of heartbeat on fault equipment. Also, if there was a car crash, shouldn't there have been... y'know, cars? Did the cluster get hit and all the humans died and couldn't explain that this monster had appeared in front of their vehicle? Eh, cartoon logic, I guess?
