• Hey, It's That Voice! #8: Matthew Moy

Hello, welcome back to "Hey, It's That Voice!" This week we are looking half of the dynamic duo that run the Big Donut, Lars!

Now, Lars is a bit of a complex character. Personally, I didn't like him when the series started, but I slowly warmed up to him. Just like every other character in the show, Lars has grown and I think he's becoming a favorite of other fans. But who is the voice of this Beach City resident? That would be Matthew Moy.

    No caption needed.

Matthew Moy, born February 3, 1984, was born and raised in San Francisco. He considers himself "a third- or fourth-generation Chinese-American". He attended University of California, Davis and graduated with a bachelors in Japanese and a minor in linguistics. After his graduation, he started starring in a number of small acting roles. These included Mind Of Mencia, Tim And Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, Non Sequitur, How I Met Your Mother, Criminal Minds, Zeke And Luther, Big Time Rush, iCarly, Good Luck Charlie, The Middle, Squatters, No Strings Attached, and Kickin' It.

His first major role came in 2009, when he took the reoccurring role of Trang in the final season of Scrubs.

Moy returned to other bit parts after the end of Scrubs. However, he is mostly known now for his work as Han Lee in the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls, which he has been starring in since 2011.

And finally, Moy has ventured within the realms of video games for his voice acting. His first role in video games was in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra with the role of Firefly. He also lent his voice to the English language version of White Knight Chronicles, with the role of Raus. And start in 2012, Moy has starting taking the reoccuring role of the voice of Shroomboom of Skylanders video games.

I don't know why, but I can totally picture Lars' voice coming from this creature.

And that will be it for this week's edition of "Hey, It's That Voice!" Tune in next week for Lars' co-worker and everyone's favorite voice of reason, Sadie!
