I wonder what our society would be like if we'd lived side by side with aliens for thousands of years. Weird stuff happens in Beach City all the time, and everyone just seems to accept it and move on with their lives. Giant alien hand ship coming to down? Guess we'll just evacuate! Big globe in the sky trying to suck the entire town into it? Nah, we can survive that. I wonder if anyone else in the world encounters gem monsters and just deals with it?
