I know it's been almost two weeks since this gathering, but thanks in large part to my new friend Marisa, we have a good amount of photos from our massive SU gathering on July 2nd. Now remember, this is only one of the four different gatherings that took place at the convention. Take a look at all these wonderful and creative cosplays!

Couldn't make it to Anime Expo 2017? That's alright, because The Death of Subtlely was there to film one of the four (yes, four) different Steven Universe cosplay gatherings. This one was on Sunday and, believe it or not, I (Little Ursa) was the announcer with the megaphone! The video is after the break! -
A week before Anime Expo, the California convention added over 40 voice actors for autographs. Among the list of added talent, we have the Steven Universe talents of Deedee Magno Hall (Pearl), Michaela Dietz (Amethyst), Jennifer Paz (Lapis Lazuli), Shelby Rabara (Peridot), Kimberly Brooks (Jasper), and Chris Jai Alex (Dogcopter). Each of these voice actors will be in the newly formed Premium Autographs Area.

One of the biggest anime conventions on the west coast, Anime Expo, is right around the corner and as usual there will be a Steven Universe cosplay gathering! Two years ago, the Steven Universe gathering was absolutely massive that we actually got shut down by the fire marshal due to a safety hazard. The gathering will be on the second day, Sunday July 2nd, at 3:30 PM at site 6. If you happen to go, you might see me, Little Ursa, bring out my Steven cosplay!
