It's always interesting to see which Beach City citizens get more character development. Like Onion, he first appeared in Bubble Buddies. Since then, he's had many other background or minor appearances, and two episode dedicated to his character development. And yet, Suitcase Sam, we barely know anything about. I wonder if the Mystery Woman will have more development in the future? Only time will tell!

It'd be interesting for the gems to switch weapons, wouldn't it? Pearl with Amethyst's spear, Amethyst with Garnet's gauntlets, Garnet with Pearls spear. Or maybe Amethyst with Pearls spear, although I can't imagine Pearl wielding those gauntlets! She could totally rock the whip though. I bet Amethyst or Garnet would be great with Steven's shield. What about Steven with Jasper's helmet? Or Amethyst with Lapis' water wings? So many possibilities!

If you have not snagged your copy of The Answer, get on it now! This storybook is beautifully written and illustrated, with Rebecca Sugar having a heavy hand in shaping it. It may just be the most gorgeous children's book you'll ever see (that is a challenge, by the way, find me a more beautiful children's book!). If for some reason you're not a true SU fan still on the fence, Fictional Crystals has a wonderful book review!

I wonder if gems just have a built in GPS system. Like how do they know where to go? Do they just leap really high to get the lay of the land so they can figure it out? Once they've explored something, does the map of the area just stay with them forever? Like with Watermelon Island. How did they know how to get home without the Warp Pad? Or when Sugilite walked across the ocean. How did she know which way home was? Do gems just wander around the world until they find the place they're trying to get to? I guess time doesn't really matter for them, so that's totally possible. Do the gems have a homing beacon built inside that leads them back to the temple? How do gems do directions?
