So is Peridot really an Era 2 gem, or was that a lie made up by Homeworld to keep gems from rebelling? With Peridot's new found powers over metal, who knows what else she could be capable of? She could function like a completely normal gem after all! But if Homeworld doesn't have the resources they say, what happened? After all, it's been 6,000 years since they began to invade Earth, wouldn't they have run out sooner? And if they are out, why destroy Earth instead of sucking its life out like they planned to years ago? What IS Homeworld up to?
